Meet the Doctors

  • Dr. Divya Mudumba

    Dr. Divya was born and raised in a military family in India and attended Army College of Dental Sciences in 2005 and practiced for a couple of years as a general dentist before going for her Pediatric residency. She moved to US with her husband in 2016 and graduated with high honors from the Advanced standing DMD program at Boston University in 2020. 

    Dr. Divya is actively involved with dental associations at local and national levels, and is very active in attending continued education programs, both to keep up with the latest dental technology and to sharpen her clinical skills.

    She loves the outdoors and exploring new places with her husband Shreeni and two daughters. Dr. Divya also loves sketching charcoal portraits.  

  • Dr. Alan Gold

    Dr. Alan Gold grew up in Flushing, NY, and was educated in New York City public schools. He graduated #3 in a class of 815 students from John Bowne High School.  After receiving a B.A. degree from SUNY Binghamton (with a major in chemistry) he went to the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, receiving a D.D.S. degree in 1983.   Following a General Practice Residency at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, he moved to the Berkshires and joined the practice of Dr. Ira Colby, who had moved to Pittsfield from New York in the 1950s.

    Dr. Gold is a member of the Berkshire District Dental Society and the American Dental Association.  He is a Past-President of the Massachusetts Dental Society and a past-General Chair of the Yankee Dental Congress.  In addition to Fellowship in both the American and International College of Dentists, he is on the staff at Berkshire Medical Center and is an occasional attending at the CHP Dental Clinic.

    Dr. Gold is very active in musical endeavors; he was the Music Director at Temple Anshe Amunim for over 25 years, and is currently organist/pianist at the First Baptist Church.  Alan has, in the past, been a musical and vocal director for numerous productions in the Berkshires.
